HANG ARTis a unique San Francisco art gallery. Defying the notion that good original art must carry a high price tag, HANG ARTopened ten years ago with the objective of making high quality paintings and sculpture available to a broader public. The gallery represents over 60 Bay Area artists in a hip yet unpretentious environment. First-time buyers are encouraged to browse our collection and ask silly questions, yet experienced collectors also rely upon us as a source of fresh talent, with exceptional customer service. Interning with HANG ARTprovides a wide variety of experience, from understanding business operations, refining written and verbal communication skills, managing a fine art inventory and caring for art, marketing practices and more. In this fast-paced environment, an intern is able to get involved with virtually all aspects of our business over the course of the term.
HANG ART is currently looking for an Intern for the Fall, 2009. Potential candidates must complete the internship for school credit. Candidates are encouraged to send their resumes to internship@hangart.com.
