July Staff Pics

Indiana (framed)
Jim Damron

DJ-

This painting brings me closer to understanding happiness. Damron paints directly from the soul. He and his work are honest, approachable, and real. We are incredibly fortunate to bask in his vision.

Marshall
Addie Shevlin

Piero-

Always a favorite, Shevlin approaches her paintings intuitively, vaguely planning before committing paint to surface, but always on attack. The artist rarely stays inside the lines, probably because so many lines are drawn within her abstract landscape its hard to choose which line to stay within.

The Age of Exploration
Jennifer Hendricks

Jamie (Intern)

I like The Age of Exploration by Jennifer Hendricks. I chose this piece because exploration is the freedom to break out of normative mindset of society.

Blossom
Jessica Martin

Andrew-

This piece alludes to two of my favorite parts of July- Big bunches of wildflowers and fireworks.

Pinata Scramble
David DeFelice

Erica-

Pinata Scramble brings back fond memories of hanging out with friends in the heat of summer in Austin.
